New ReviewerThe motto of this company should be never time to do it right but always time to do it over--Someday !!!! I have spent 65 years attending the school of life with eyes wide open.
I know shoddy {{Redacted}} work when I see it and the art of putting lipstick on a pig. Purchased a home last year and spent life savings to avoid a mortgage payment every month in hopes of being able to live on disability income. Was promised closing on home 08/01/16 and ended up waiting until 11/01/16 for move in. Home is located on the side of the 10th green of golf course.
During entire framing and building period there were 3 sprinklers that hit the house from the golf course that ran twice daily every day through the night. These were large sprinklers with the flow of a fire hose. None of the workers or supervisors paid any attention to the fact that the rear of the lot and the back and side of the house were perpetually wet as well as all the sub flooring in the back half of the house prior to siding and window installation. This went on for weeks even after I called the golf course and pointed it out to the workers on site.
The 3 spinkler heads were disabled eventually and the house was finished and moved in to. We had an unusally mild winter and the golf course would turn the irrigation system back on occasionally and those sprinkers were activated from time to time and would spray the sides and windows of the home with tremendous force. After repeated calls they were again disabled. There is now severe flexing and severe delamination of the OSB that is in place under 50% of the house.
It was not clear to me what all had taken place during construction until after the closing and the reactivation of the sprinklers but after several warranty calls and inspections by independant flooring and framing companys as well as the visits by me during constuction that the issue became clear.
Can't wait to see how this gets resolved. Will post more.

Please let me understand why they are horrible home builders. The gold course (a DRHorton course?) sprays your house.
They were told not to, stopped for a bit and then got over it and continued to water your house. Your house is not a boat and doesnโt want to be sprayed with water all the time and now is showing problems.
How is this D R Hortonโs fault? Shouldnโt you send your frustration to,the golf course that has been told repeatedly they are watering your home and they just donโt care and continue?
Youre title is confusing. Aryans are the smartest.
Still waiting for response . I can't get no satisfaction.
