We bought the house from DR Horton and moved in the house on 2012. 2013 summer, the Air Conditioner didn't work well, under the AC warranty, the AC guy came out but just recharge the refrigerant and the AC return to working normal.

2014 summer (this year), the same issue for the Air Condition happened again, as I know it's run out the warranty, we called another Air Conditioner company came by my house to check/fix the Air Conditioner. The report from new AC guy is showing on the liquid line wasn't solder property during time of installation, and he said we need call the builder to redo the connection joining, because that was not right during the installation, after we contact with DR Horton Builder Customer Service / Warranty Manager Mr.Brian Matte. He rejects my request and don't want to fix this issue.

We disagree with Mr.Brian Matte's decision. We are asking for DR Horton pay to have something fixed that was not right during the installation.

Monetary Loss: $250.

Location: Ashburn, Virginia

I am currently dealing with him for the EXACT same issues. He is refusing to help even though this is clearly an installation issue.

We are in New Market, MD. This has happened to at least 2 other neighbors of mine.

This is clearly a known issue and they refuse to take responsibility for it.
